Ralph Mattioli is an artist living in Lawton, Oklahoma. Born in the Bronx New York, he joined the Army after high school and and was stationed in many foreign countries including 2 tours in the Republic of Vietnam . In 1994, after 31 years of service, Ralph retired as a CW04 . He attended Cameron University, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He prefers working with oil on canvas , a medium he feels most comfortable with, He considers himself a colorist and is influenced by the Art Deco movement and the works of Salvatore Dali and Picasso.
